The former Serbian province of Kosovo marks one year of independence
Sebastian KatzerFebruary 17, 2009
Kosovo is celebrating the first anniversary of independence today. One year ago the parliament of the former Serbian province declared unilateral independence... The country which has a majority ethnic Albanian population remains heavily dependent on outside aid... and the government is still struggling to build viable state. +++ SYN-MAZ +++
