The German government wants a resolution in the case of Opel, and is warning of yet further delays

The CEO of General Motors is saying what Opel workers here in Germany want to hear--at least partly. Fritz Henderson promising Opel will have more independence in the future from Detroit. Henderson is in Germany on a fence-mending mission. GM infuriated Opel workers and the German government last week when it slammed the brakes on a deal to sell Opel. Henderson has also made it clear that Opel still belongs to General Motors.
