The International Highrise Award

Italian architect Stefano Boeri has won the International Highrise Award 2014 for his eco friendly skyscraper called Bosco Verticale - or "vertical forest" which is in Milan. He and the project’s developer also win 50,000 Euros in prize money. It’s also part of a revitalization project initiated by Milan which houses two residential high-rises that are full of flora.
