European Union finance ministers have formally approved an 85-billion-euro bailout for Ireland -- but left it to an EU summit later this month to take decisions on a long-term solution to the bloc's unresolved debt crisis. And this Tuesday evening, the Irish parliament is expected to vote through one of the toughest budgets of modern times, clearing the way for the EU bail-out.
