In Ireland, the bodies of thousands of children born out of wedlock are believed to lie in mass graves. They died in homes for unmarried women run by Catholic nuns. Surivors and relatives are demanding answers.

In Tuam and Roscrea, Ireland confronts a traumatic past: forensic teams are uncovering possible mass graves of children who died in Catholic mother‑and‑baby homes.

Survivors and relatives, including Anna Corrigan and Colleen Anderson, demand truth, justice and accountability for decades of neglect, abuse and secrecy. Despite apologies and compensation, many families continue their fight for answers.
