The Nobel peace prize aims to direct international attention to an array of global issues, such as working for peace in crisis regions or to promoting democracy. In 2003, the prize was awarded to the Iranian human rights activist Sharin Ebadi. She's been working most of her life to establish more rights for Iranian women and children. In our next report, we take a look at the effect Ebadi's work has had in Iran.
