The Polish government says the worst may still be to come, as flood barriers break in Wroclaw

Flood barriers have broken in VROTS-waff in the south of Poland, flooding the northwestern part of the city. And floodwaves on the river Oder are heading towards Germany, and are expected to arrive by Sunday evening. At least 12 people have died in Poland and thousands have been evacuated. The capital Warsaw is still on alert. Areas, further north, are also under threat. The financial damage of the flood already lies at an estimated 2 point 4 billion euros.
