Rolls-Royce cars are status symbols - and the most individually customizable cars on the market today. Well over 800 man-hours go into each Rolls, with most of the work done by hand. A peek behind the scenes of the production in Goodwood.

The finest materials, including rare woods and leather are worked and assembled manually. The only two robots in the plant near Goodwood, England, work in the paint shop, coating the bodies in smooth, shiny, seamless colors. Drive it! took a peek behind the scenes at the various phases in the production of a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
