Thousands of Minorities Displaced in Myanmar

At least 70 people detained by the military regime during last month's protests in Myanmar have been released from Yangon's Insein Prison according to Nyan Win, the National League for Democracy party spokesman. Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch has accused the junta of forcibly displacing hundreds of thousands of ethnic minorities in eastern Myanmar.
