Tens of thousands of people marched through Minneapolis to protest the killing of a woman by a US federal immigration agent. They demanded that Immigration and Customs Enforcement leave the city immediately.

Tens of thousands of people rallied in freezing temperatures in the US city of Minneapolis after an officer of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, known as ICE, shot and killed Renee Nicole Good, a mother of three.

Backed by US President Donald Trump federal officials claim self‑defense, but witnesses and state and city leaders say the killing was a crime. Demonstrators confronted ICE agents at a gas station. Minnesota Democrats say they were blocked from inspecting an immigration detention center.
