Three Germans are acquitted in Italy on charges of aiding illegal immigration

An Italian court has handed down a not guilty verdict in the trial of three German nationals accused of aiding illegal immigrants. The men were associated with the Cap Anamur aid organization - and assisted in the rescue of 37 African migrants from an overloaded raft in the Meditrranean.
