Some Palestinians left Gaza to start new lives, but not all those who've been allowed to stay in EU countries have been able to bring their families. DW reports from Cyprus, which has taken over the EU presidency.

Mohammad and Ali, refugees from Gaza living in Cyprus, are still waiting to reunite with their families trapped in Khan Younis. Despite being granted asylum and having a legal right to family reunification, long delays persist as EU migration policies tighten.
