Julia Fischer, former doctor, now journalist and author. She says: "We must make no compromises in implementing the lessons learned so far. If not, the second wave will be very painful."

Ulrike Herrmann, business and finance journalist with the Berlin-based daily, the TAZ. She believes that: "By the fall at the latest, coronavirus will be back. And the economy will be hard hit."

Tobias Kurth, Professor for Public Health and Epidemiology at Berlin's Charité Hospital. He says: "We must do everything in our power to keep infection rates low and protect the public sector."
