For more than 50 years, Placido Domingo's voice has mesmerized millions. His signature role is Verdi's Othello, but he's sung many more lead parts and made history as one of the Three Tenors. He's also proved to be a talented conductor. Now he's receiving the Praemium Imperiale lifetime achievement award - a prestigious accolade from the Japan Arts Association.
