Toyota recall fiasco continues

08/02/10February 8, 2010

Toyota is reportedly planning to take its new hybrid car model Prius from the market. According to Japan's Kyodo News agency, more than 270,000 cars could be recalled as complaints of brake problems continue to come in. The car giant has already recalled eight million other models because of faulty accelerator pedals and floor mats. Last Friday, the president of the firm Akio Toyoda publicly apologised for the problems and said he would set up a taskforce to investigate.
