Trade unions demonstrate in Berlin for more social justice

Tens of thousands of people have marched through the streets of the German Capital this Saturday calling for more government action to protect jobs and workers rights. Germany is currently facing its deepest recession since the Second World War. The demonstrators voiced their anger over rising unemployment which they see rooted in the excesses of capitalism. And german politicians are listening particularly closely - with general elections coming up in September.
