Donald Trump's threats to Greenland and attacks on Venezuela have caused world leaders and analysts to declare the end of the rules-based global order. There is more strategy to his actions than you might think.

US President Donald Trump attacked Venezuela and kidnapped its leader, threatened to take Greenland, and is regularly talking to Vladimir Putin. This has led multiple world leaders to declare the end of the so-called rules-based global order that the US set up in the first place. Beneath all the chaos, there are patterns.
