Matthew Karnitschnig, the Chief Europe Correspondent at POLITICO.  Matthew argues that, “It might be tempting to dismiss Donald Trump as a clown without a coherent agenda, but that would be a mistake.”

Christiane Meier is a very familiar face from German TV's ARD network. She believes: “Crazy or not, Trump is divisive and destructive, but worse are the people who are letting him get away with it.”

Anna Sauerbrey is Opinion Editor with Berlin's Tagesspiegel newspaper and a contributing writer for the New York Times. She says: “US foreign policy under Trump is NOT beyond reason – but it's probably not really Trump's own foreign policy.”
