The town of Gori, north-west of the Georgian capital, Tiblisi - was amongst the hardest hit by Russian bombing. Almost two thirds of the 70,000 residents fled.. and Georgian officials estimate ten percent of the buildings were destroyed. Most of the people have now returned to their homes - or what is left of them. Along with them... thousands of refugees from neighbouring areas. A lot needs to be done.. and aid groups like the International Red Cross are focusing their efforts on Gori.. to help rebuild the town.
