The trial of four suspected Islamist terrorists in Dusseldorf today follows the arrests made by Germany's Federal Police two years ago. In what's likely to be a sensational trial - the four men - three German citizens and a Turk - are accussed of plotting to blow up German civilians and US soldiers. The prosecution says their ultimate goal was to wage an Islamic holy war in the heart of Europe. +++SYN+++
