Welcome Back. September 15th, 2008 - is a date that will long be remembered in the financial world. The Lehman Brothers investment bank collapsed after the US government refused to prop up it up. The consequences were enormous - with shockwaves felt across the global economy. Investor confidence vanished, markets went into a tailspin, companies were wiped out and millions of jobs lost. One year on, we look back at what remains of Leeman Brothers and if any lessons have been learnt after its stunning demise.
