Mohammadi came from Afghanistan to Germany as a refugee three years ago. He quickly learned German, got a high-school diploma and trained as a chef. But he can't live from what he makes as an apprentice, and the authorities have rejected his application for assistance because he hasn't been in the country for four years. In essence, he's integrated too quickly.
