Turkey: Modern Housing for Smaller Families

More and more Turks want a nice apartment and just a small family with just two children. Modern developments are under construction on the outskirts of Turkish cities providing for just that need.

More and more Turks are choosing against large families and the poverty that often involves. Even in eastern Anatolia the birthrate is sinking. At the moment Turkish women are having on average two point two children. At current rates the population will keep growing until 2030. But after that it will sink. More and more Turks are moving into the booming cities. The state housing authorities are reacting to that and are aiming to provide an apartment with fitted kitchen.
