From a market perspective, Erdogan's victory could be considered an extension of the status quo. Increased predictability could mean more foreign investment might slowly creep in. But "could" is the operative word. The deep democratic fissures point to more polarization and the potential for instability. That could drag the already beleagured economy further down.
