Over 50 million people are eligible to vote in local elections that are being viewed as a key test for Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The outcome of the vote -- especially in the cities of Istanbul and Ankara -- could have a major impact on whether Erdogan will run for the presidency in August.
