An attack outside a synagogue in Manchester that killed two people and seriously injured three has been declared a terrorist incident by British authorities. The Prime Minister cut his trip abroad short to chair an emergency meeting and has stepped up security at synagogues across the nation.

On Yom Kippur, a deadly terror attack struck a synagogue in Manchester, leaving two dead and several injured. The assailant drove into worshippers before continuing his attack with a knife, prompting police to fatally shoot him. Authorities confirmed the incident as terrorism, amid rising antisemitism linked to Middle East tensions. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the attack and pledged increased protection for Jewish communities.
