Two thirds of German voters want prompt snap election

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is under pressure: Opposition parties say he should clear the way for an election fast after his governing coalition imploded on Wednesday. A recent poll shows that two thirds of German voters are also in favor of fast snap elections. For now, Scholz is not bending to the pressure, and says he is sticking to his deadline of holding new elections in March.
