Typhoon Kajiki has made landfall in Vietnam. Authorities have shut down airports, closed schools, and begun mass evacuations. Kajiki is already the fifth in a series of powerful storms, supercharged by climate change, to hit Vietnam this year.

Typhoon Kajiki has made landfall in Vietnam, triggering mass evacuations, school closures, and airport shutdowns.

With winds reaching 166 km/h, the storm has brought flooding, landslides, and widespread damage to the country's central coast.

Kajiki is Vietnam's fifth typhoon this year — part of a growing trend of extreme weather intensified by climate change.
