Uganda's elections in January 2021 were widely criticized by international bodies for their uneven playing field and violence surrounding the vote. A Ugandan opposition member and supporter of presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi, better known as Bobi Wine, exclusively told DW how he was detained and tortured in the weeks after the election.
