Ukraine steps up drone strikes on St. Petersburg, targeting energy and naval sites, as experts say pressure on Russia is intensifying amid stalled peace talks.

Ukraine has launched a new wave of drone attacks on Russia’s St. Petersburg, hitting an oil refinery, naval base and other strategic sites during a major economic forum. Security expert Bob Murrett says the strikes show Kyiv’s ability to target Russia’s energy and military assets, increasing pressure on the Kremlin. He describes a broader war of attrition, while negotiations remain stalled and both sides appear prepared for a prolonged conflict.
