Ukraine's military says it has shot down a Russian spy plane and a command aircraft, which are used to coordinate its battlefield movements. One of the planes was a A-50 which can spot targets up to 650 kilometres away. Shooting it down would be a significant boost to Ukraine in its fight against Russia. Moscow has not confirmed the incidents.
