Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with key allies in London and Brussels on Monday in a bid to coordinate a joint European strategy during peace talks with Russia. Pressure mounts as the US pushes for the deal to be signed.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited London and Brussels for high-stakes talks with European leaders as the US is urging Ukraine to accept a peace plan with Russia.

Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, France's President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in London before traveling to Brussels to meet European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.

While European leaders insist on a lasting solution to continental security, Zelenskyy called for unity among Ukraine, Europe, and the US as the allies debated possible compromises.
