Ukraine's allies push back on US peace plan

Ukraine's Western allies rallied around the war-torn country as they pushed to revise a US peace plan seen as favoring Moscow despite its full-scale invasion of its neighbor.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed a delegation to examine US PresidentDonald Trump’s peace plan for ending the war with Russia. Western leaders, including Germany’s Friedrich Merz and France's Emmanuel Macron, stressed Ukraine’s consent is essential.
