In Ukraine, doctors and paramedics are finding it increasingly difficult to do their work on the front lines. Injured soldiers sometimes wait days for aid.

Ukrainian medics are battling the brutal impact of drone warfare. Wounded soldiers arrive at makeshift clinics near the front line, often injured by Russian kamikaze or surveillance drones. Evacuations are perilous, and emergency drills are now vital. Underground hospitals offer some protection, but the psychological toll on medical staff remains immense.
