Smoke billowed over Russia, as Ukrainian drones hit a Moscow oil refinery for the second time this week. Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov warned of massive, coordinated strikes in retaliation.

A Ukrainian drone attack has struck a major oil storage site in Moscow, triggering a large explosion and thick smoke over the Russian capital.

Traffic was halted and flights disrupted. Ukraine says the strike is in retaliation for recent Russian attacks on Kyiv, including damage to a historic monastery.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russia is not beyond reach, suggesting Moscow could face further attacks as the war escalates.
