Interceptor drones are transforming Ukraine’s defense against Russian attacks. Introduced in early 2025, these low-cost drones have destroyed over 1,000 Shahed and similar drones in just four months. Russia launched more than 44,000 attack drones this year—a fourfold increase. Ukrainian models like “The Sting” from Wild Hornets and units funded by the Come Back Alive Foundation have proven vital, offering an affordable alternative to traditional air defenses and attracting NATO interest.
