We start with the Republican Convention in the United States...where John Mcain's vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, electrified delegates with her inaugural speech. In her first appearance on the national stage, the Governor of Alaska reached out to middle America.. and took aim at the Democratic Presidential nominee, Barak Obama. Palin had been kept out of the public eye since her selection last week.... as disclosures about her family threatened to derail the McCain campaign.
