According to sources in Washington, the strike on Iran was launched without Congressional approval. Unlike the Iraq invasion in 2003, the US did not coordinate international efforts.

The recent US strike on Iran was launched without Congressional approval, and unlike the 2003 Iraq invasion, Washington did not coordinate any international effort.  Questions remain over how much support President  Donald Trump has within his own administration and among the American public.
