US prosecutors slam Apple over locked iPhone

The US Justice Department has accused tech giant Apple of deliberately creating technological barriers that prevent the FBI from hacking an iPhone linked to last December's mass shooting in San Bernadino. In a new legal brief, government lawyers are pushing back against Apple's refusal to unlock the phone. Apple dismissed the accusations, calling them a "smear".
