The US has reactivated the long-abandoned Roosevelt Roads naval base in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, as part of a growing military buildup in the Caribbean. Dozens of F-35 fighter jets now operate daily from the base, alongside upgrades like new taxiways, tents, and communication gear.
