In South Florida, Venezuelans are watching rising US-Venezuela tensions with hope and fear. Many support the Trump administration pressure on Venezuelan authoritarian leader Nicolas Maduro. But they are also worried about the risks of a US military intervention.

In South Florida’s 'Doralzuela,' Venezuelan expats debate U.S. military intervention as tensions rise between Donald Trump and Nicolás Maduro. Some see it as the only way to end authoritarian rule, citing repression and kidnappings in Venezuela. Others fear civilian casualties and regional instability.
