Vertical Farming: Saving the world's food problem?

With the world’s population expected to rise to 9 billion by 2050, experts are worried the planet might face a global food crisis if production levels aren’t raised. An alternative form of agriculture might help meet the growing demand: Vertical farming is on the rise in the US and elsewhere. The production practice is based on technology and indoor growing methods, but not everyone is convinced.
