VfB Stuttgart have signed Denmark striker Jon Dahl Tomasson on a four-year contract from AC Milan, the Bundesliga side said on Saturday. Stuttgart, who last month sold Germany striker Kevin Kuranyi to Schalke 04 for a reported seven million euros ($8.46 million), did not disclose a fee for 28-year-old Tomasson. "Jon Dahl Tomasson is a striker with a lot of international experience and someone who proved in Italy what an excellent player he is," said Stuttgart's new coach Giavanni Trapattoni. "Stuttgart is the club I was hoping for," Tomasson, who has also played for Newcastle United and Feyenoord, told the German club's website. "I'm very happy that the transfer to Stuttgart has been completed."
