The Two-Million Euro Violin

What does the person who has everything buy for themselves? A Russian millionaire, Maxim Viktorov, came upon an item that would bring joy not only to him, but other lovers of classical music as well. When a rare Guarneri violin came up for auction at Sotheby's recently, Viktorov dug more than two million euros out of his pocket and bought it. Reports say the violin had been stored away in a private family collection since 1881. Now, a concert by virtuouso Pinchas Zuckerman marks the first time the rare instrument's tones have been heard for more than a century.
