Waning Press Freedom in Afghanistan

Global press freedom declined in 2007 suggests a recent study by the Washington-based rights group Freedom House. The report expresses concerns about violence against journalists in a number of countries, especially in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and the Philippines. The situation isn’t ideal in Afghanistan either.
