Iran on June 1 announced the executions of two more men convicted over their alleged role in anti-government unrest. Their deaths come amid a broader crackdown that has accelerated since the outbreak of war.

Iran has executed two more men over anti-government unrest, marking a sharp escalation in political repression amid wartime conditions. Human rights groups warn Tehran is fast-tracking trials, silencing dissent and using fear to maintain control. Since February, dozens of protesters and alleged opponents have been executed, while thousands have been arrested and internet access restricted, limiting communication and evidence sharing.
