Ten years ago, the Alassani family moved from Togo to Harthausen in the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz. Because too many people in their homeland no longer have access to clean water, the Alassanis wanted to raise money to build two wells in Togo. Their entire village in Germany supported the project.
