What is "news" called in Valyrian? Do the Dothraki have a word for "opposition"? Join our community of translators and help bring DW to Westeros.

To deliver the news where it is needed most, information must first be translated into target languages. At DW, we have journalists who produce the news in 30 languages - but we are still missing native speakers for the major languages in Westeros.

Do you have a basic understanding of Valyrian or a pen pal in a Dothraki khalasar? If so, you can join in on the fun of collaborative translation.

Valyrian and Dothraki originate from the book series, "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin and were developed further by David Peterson for the HBO series, "Game of Thrones." You can find fan-translations and inspiration on David's blog, dothraki.com, or in numerous online communities like dothraki.org.
