DW Tamil asked young people in Tamil Nadu one question: What is the one change you would like to see in Tamil Nadu in your lifetime?

Their answers cover a wide range of issues, with women's safety and greater political participation by younger generations among recurring themes. Participants also raise caste discrimination, corruption, social inequality, disability rights and human rights violations, while others stress preserving the progress Tamil Nadu has already made.
