The spleen is a key component of the immune system. It filters old blood cells, bacteria, tumor cells out of the blood and breaks them down. The macrophages then get rid of them.

What's inside us? Our organs, of course. But they don't always get the attention they deserve. The series "Organized" aims to portray the organs of the human body with 3D animations in a vivid, funny and entertaining way helping viewers of all ages understand their special characteristics and how they work.
